In a nutshell

You've studied ballistics, weapons and the nature of the enemy. You're beginning to learn how to use the rangefinder that is the Repertoire. But now it's time to study the different types of ammunition and learn how to shoot! The Practitioner now has a good grasp of the science, but still needs to acquire the Art, and forge his own personal touch.
With over 150 hours of medical studies, this time you'll be able to prescribe with a clear conscience, and see where others cannot. Better still, medical subject matter, which appears to the untrained eye as a hodgepodge of symptoms, will seem logical to you, with its signs coming from the miasma(s), the common signs of disease, and the characteristic signs of the drug.
Above all, you will now study the revolution within the revolution, i.e. liquid-phase prescribing, which makes it possible to fine-tune dosage to the patient's sensitivity. You will also study the different routes of administration, making you a Master in the Art of Healing.
At last, you'll leave the harbor with all sails set!

  1. Examination of the chronically ill patient
    A thorough history and careful observation (verbal and non-verbal) enable an individualized homeopathic prescription.
  2. The two diagnostic approaches
    Two complementary methods: "Bottom-Up" (bottom-up analysis) and "à la Boenninghausen" (repertory-based systematics).
  3. Psychiatry according to Hahnemann
    Holistic approach to mental disorders, combining physical signs, ancient symptoms and dual-level treatment.
  4. Specific mental disorders
    Study of emotional and behavioral disorders, with recommendations for comprehensive, individualized support.
  5. Study of fever phenomena
    Analysis of febrile states and their energetic variations, in particular the alternation of the body's strata.
  6. Homeopathic dosage
    Fine-tuning of dosage, preferential use of liquid forms, and the principle of minimum dose to stimulate without aggravating.
  7. Reactions and therapeutic adjustments
    Interpret patient reactions to adjust treatment, integrating lifestyle and rigorous assessment.
  8. Pharmacopraxis: preparing remedies
    Rigorous preparation of medicines with dynamization, according to different scales (centesimal, LM), for maximum efficacy.
  9. Administration and philosophy of care
    Using a single remedy, gradually adjusting dosage, and promoting accessible, humane medicine.
  10. Complementary therapies
    Baths, electrotherapy and massage support the effects of remedies by rebalancing vital energy.
  11. Magnetic approaches
    Use of mineral and animal magnetism to harmonize the patient's energy within a holistic vision of care.

The program

Principles (±28 hours)

We conclude our examination of patients with a study of the specific features of chronic cases. Then we'll look at the special case of mental illness and alternating diseases. Finally, the in-depth study of the new posology will be the revolution within the revolution. No stone will be left unturned in this important study of our medicines: how to prepare them, how to administer them. From now on, you'll belong to the very select club of 5% of homeopaths who can claim to have studied and understood Hahnemann. It's up to you to complete the edifice.

Clinical approach (±21.5 hours)

We must constantly study the human dough in which we immerse ourselves. The more cases you see, the better you'll become. Clearly, the cases will be easier for you to decode now that your mind has been trained in the particular mental gymnastics of the Organon. There are some thirty cases here, each telling a different story.

Medical Subjects (±151 hours, 42 drugs)

This is the "big slab" of the Practitioner level! You'll see how vividly Dr. Broussalian depicts the properties of drugs, as if an artificial patient were standing in front of you.
Four hours of training on the Kent Repertory complete this level.

CERTIFICATION

The exam is compulsory. Students who have completed all the videos sit the exam at one of the two clinical seminars. Successful completion of this third-level examination is rewarded with a diploma, which guarantees the seriousness of the homeopathic practitioner's training.
(As you will be a standard-bearer for homeopathy, the IHS reserves the right to withdraw the diploma from anyone found to be practising without respecting Hahnemann's precepts (e.g. polypharmacy, arbitrary repetition of dry doses, etc.).

Who is Doctor Edouard Broussalian?

Born in 1962, he studied Kent's Organon and Repertory on his own at the age of 15, benefiting from the experience of his father Georges, himself a direct pupil of Geneva-based homeopathic master Dr Pierre Schmidt, who had travelled to the USA in 1922 to study with Kent's disciples.
Throughout his medical studies at Grenoble University, he continued to prescribe for nursing staff and their families. When he became an intern, he achieved resounding results in the psychiatry department, where he began his career. Then, throughout the hospital, he continued to achieve astonishing results, which sometimes got him into trouble.
He settled in Annecy in 1989, and from then on began an overflowing practice. To date, he has more than 130,000 cases to his credit.
He wrote books that quickly became standard references, such as his first complete translation of the Kent Repertory, as well as numerous articles.
When asked "Why Edouard Broussalian?", his students say it's because of his human qualities of benevolence, generosity, sharing, rigour and accuracy, which come together at every level of his teaching.

My belief in keeping homeopathy alive is this:
We need to teach ordinary people how to treat everyday ailments, such as colds, flu, coughs, bronchitis, and sinusitis, using homeopathy, so that demand for homeopathic remedies from general practitioners comes from the bottom up.
In the 1970s, there was a journal called Les annales homéopathiques (Homeopathic Annals) which described either a polychrest or the symptoms of a disease and how to treat it.
I think a journal aimed at the general public would be a significant plus, especially if it could be sent by email, which would be easy.

You can't understand homeopathy until you've studied it!
That's what I realized when I finished the last packages and thought back to what I knew before my course. Studying the text left behind by its creator—the Organon—feels like both an obstacle course and a true initiation. Homeopathy cannot be understood by those who only scratch the surface! In this age of turbo training, it is very enjoyable and educational to study over three or four years, in concentric circles of integration, both the laws and principles and the materia medica.
