Clinical Seminar in Skoura October 12-13, 2024

Here we go again , hopefully on a regular basis, with the next seminar already scheduled for autumn.

For this autumn, I chose the enchanting site of the Skoura oasis near Ouarzazate, not far from Isabelle Rossi's residence. Under the influence of our Moroccan friends, I gave in to the call of this beautiful country, where I was lucky enough to live for several years. We'll be enjoying breathtaking hospitality, excellent food and breathtaking surroundings.

Transport: Transavia offers round-trip flights from Paris for around €150, and Ryanair from Marseille for similar prices, all direct to Ouarzazate.

ACCOMMODATION: Isabelle Rossi takes care of everything. For 3 days count around 300 euros in a double room, including the Berber evening with mechoui! Please write to her to book, she'll allocate the accommodation to the different gîtes.

HOURS Saturday morning to Sunday evening:

Saturday 12 at 9.00 am. Please come an hour early so we can start on time.

Sunday 13: 9:00 a.m.

I'm not specifying an end time, as we can easily play overtime. And why not even see some cases on Monday.

EXAMINATIONS :

May take place on Fridays or Mondays, date to be determined.

THE SEMINAR :

This will be the classic seminar as you like it, with Ed working without a net in front of your eyes. I'll be breaking down live clinical cases with patients I don't know. Thanks to the video control room and multiple cameras, we'll be able to follow the consultation live, and the whole room will be able to interact live too. The aim of the seminar is to show how to perfect case taking, by detailing the whole process of analysis, synthesis and reflection that leads to the choice of the most appropriate medication. Progress in case taking, medical subject matter and repertory is guaranteed!

This event is primarily reserved for PH students (it is strongly recommended that you have already taken the first year of the Organon course), but all practitioners are welcome. Those who wish to participate without being PH students are only accepted once to a clinical seminar, and are then asked to take the essential step of learning the Organon, without which one remains a prescriber of little recipes but never becomes a homeopath (yes, I know I make a lot of friends by saying what I think, but unlike them I don't think I'm better than Hahnemann).

PATIENTS :

We'll recruit patients on the spot. I promise you some tasty cases, as these are people in the highest state of health, and our understanding of medical matters is likely to take leaps forward! You can always offer the trip to people who would like to benefit from a consultation. Of course, there's the confidentiality agreement that you've all signed, and the patients pay nothing but grant their image rights.

COURSES :

We'll have the traditional Matière Médicale course with Jean-Claude Ravalard, as well as other guests.

REGISTRATIONS :

Registration fee: CHF 260 excluding on-site meals.

360 CHF for registrations after September 01, 2024.

In the event of cancellation, the following charges will apply:

- more than 30 days before the seminar: no charge
- between 30 and 15 days: 50% of the total cost of the seminar
- less than 15 days: 100% of the total cost of the seminar
