And indeed, it is fitting to wish people a Merry Christmas in a world dominated by totalitarianism, which imposes its ideology through narrative. Totalitarianism, ideology and narrative form the edifice of lies. They are so intimately linked that they can be regarded as the perverse trinity of the same delusional monstrosity. The very moment someone tries to sell us a narrative, we know that a totalitarian process is at work. The indispensable complicity of the media and technology completes the cycle of this new form of confinement, which no longer needs barbed wire to thrive and silence dissidents. Those who might try to label me a conspiracy theorist will be in for a surprise: the very essence of government is conspiracy. The fundamental question now is: who governs us? All one needs to know is which one cannot criticise to find out the answer. Since 2020, naively believing in our benevolent leaders has become a sign of unwavering stupidity, naivety, blindness or denial. Tick the appropriate boxes.

The pathological liars at the helm take perverse delight in the impunity they enjoy for their various misdeeds, the scale of which is beyond anything in living memory. Let us reflect for a moment on the lessons in democracy that Ursula von der Leyen (known as ‘Pustula’ to her close circle) and her cronies are inflicting upon us. Unelected, and already found guilty of corruption in her own country (or what remains of it), she negotiates her lucrative contracts via text message with the equally corrupt Pfizer. But this is nothing compared to the colossal scheme to plunder and siphon off wealth from European countries via the Ukrainian money-laundering and corruption network. All of this is happening right under the noses of citizens who have been zombified by four generations of allopathic medicine, antidepressants and other drugs.

Now more than ever, we must remember that the Word became flesh, and that a gift was bestowed upon all humanity, regardless of race, colour, gender or age. The fiercely anti-Christian policies of our leaders thus take on their full meaning, as does their promotion of all manner of atrocities such as wokism, gender theories and other forms of cancel culture. Most people remain completely unaware that the atheistic and ‘multi-tolerant’ socialism being unconsciously imposed upon them is the gateway to a dreadful form of totalitarianism. The height of monstrosity: a global genocide is being set in motion with the enthusiastic consent of the victims. Unprecedented!

Only a handful of dissidents need to be silenced; this is the recent case of Xavier Moreau in Russia and Jacques Baud in Brussels, who were unilaterally condemned by European bureaucrats, without trial or charge, and never defended by the authorities in their home countries. Simply for having displeased their self-appointed masters and contradicted their narrative. Most of the normies do not realise that this fate obviously awaits anyone who voices even the slightest dissent: with a single click, your accounts will be blocked, your passport cancelled, and so on.

It begins with realising the sheer magnitude of the lie we are fed on a daily basis in the name of science, and this marks the start of an often painful awakening of consciousness. I cannot cast the first stone at anyone, for in 2001, faced with the horrific sight of the towers ablaze as they collapsed at free-fall speed and the perfectly orderly collapse of Building No. 7, I realised that something enormous had happened, requiring the complicity of the US government. This year, I was forced to listen to the sickening speech by an official representative of *En Marche* in my beloved city of Geneva. At the end of the session, I found myself with a marvellous gift: a book entitled ‘50 Sensational Personalities Who Have Come to Live in Switzerland’. This book alone sums up the whole of socialist ideology, which I regard as the infantile disease of communism. All the clichés are there: “In 2015, radical Islamists … killed several people. A common tactic of linguistic manipulation, saying ‘several’ instead of ‘twelve’ transforms a targeted massacre into an incident with vague numbers. This is what linguists sometimes refer to as the « Newspeak« (with reference to Orwell), where vocabulary is reduced in order to limit the capacity for critical thinking. Euphemisation, reverse understatement and semantic dilution are the standard weapons of such people.

But the lie reaches the height of its audacity: our socialists, puffed up with self-righteousness, ask, with their hand on their heart: ‘How can anyone interpret their religion in such a horrific way?’ Marvel at the evasion. Through this single verb — ‘interpret’ — they absolve dogma and condemn the dictionary. This is the hallmark of their cowardice: refusing to see in the letter what is expressed in blood. With a single stroke of the pen, they erase fourteen centuries of history, forgetting, for example, that the Crusades — a sublime example of fraternal solidarity— were nothing more than the desperate last stand of the West in the face of the devastation suffered by the Christians of the East, who were once masters of their own lands before being overwhelmed by conquest, savagery and the atrocities committed in the name of Islam.

By distorting the text and glossing over the conquests, these people are not working for peace; they are working to bury the truth. They bury historical truth beneath the rubble of their paper ‘living together’, preferring to accuse the reader rather than confront the source. It is the triumph of the slogan over knowledge, of sentimentality over survival.

One could go on like this throughout these pages, shamelessly juxtaposing a poor girl who had come from her home country to learn to read and write with Béjart or Einstein.

I’ll tell you what: they make me want to throw up. In the name of all our dead, I despise them. Our self-righteous socialists are now taking offence at the monstrosity of their own deeds, they who have methodically stifled every breath of life. They have erected a scaffold of prohibitions upon the ruins of our hopes, hammering home a catechism of renunciation to a drained youth.

They have decreed that these new souls must remain immobile: ambition is the dregs of a deindustrialised country, travel is a carbon stain, and freedom of movement is a crime against the atmosphere. They have been taught to hate their heritage, with children being branded a climate threat and the family home a polluting relic. Even the simple loyalty of an animal or the elegance of a clean garment have become quantifiable sins.

They have deconstructed the private sphere, blurring identities in order to better erode our points of reference, whilst erecting a science devoid of doubt and critical thinking — a cold idol before which we must bow in silence. They have been taught to be ashamed of their history, to apologise for being descended from their ancestors, and to see their homeland as nothing more than a dreary province of a technocratic empire.

Beneath the plane trees where dreams ought to blossom, they have sown panic: fear of the other, fear of the air we breathe, fear of the disease and violence that they themselves have allowed to flourish. Joy is banned in the name of a transition that feels like agony. They have replaced the whisper of life with the deafening clamour of the end of the world, extinguishing the zest, the hope and the light in the eyes of those who, after all, have their whole future ahead of them.
