In summary

Now that you’ve crossed the Rubicon, it’s time to find out how to put the Principles into practice. Over 200 videos to teach you how to observe and understand what you see. It’s a genuine introduction to medical dialectics.
You have realised that there is no other path to healing than the interaction of two similar wholes. Any other form of medication is inevitably doomed to failure, either by suppressing symptoms or by inducing a new energetic layer.
Now we need to learn what to observe and how to do so. We are moving away from the realm of theoretical symptom complexes to begin truly observing the patient. This level naturally builds on the study of the Organon but offers you the opportunity to follow nearly 80 hours of clinical cases, all commented on and analysed in detail by Dr Broussalian. You will come to realise the power of concepts such as the idea that medicines are merely artificial diseases, that cure is achieved through the administration of a pathogenic influence, and many other paradoxes.

Topics covered

  1. Examination of the patient
Rediscovering the art of clinical practice through symptoms and chronic miasms according to Hahnemann.
  2. Pharmacodynamics
A study of the effects of homeopathic medicines, viewed as artificial diseases.
  3. Pathogeneses
Experiments on healthy subjects to understand the specific effects of substances.
  4. Experimentation and observation
Self-assessment methods to refine the analysis of symptoms.
  5. The dynamic nature of diseases
An energy-based approach to illness and the principles of remedy repetition according to depth.
  6. Quantity of medicine and symbol
The link between dosage, Jungian archetypes and a holistic approach to health.
  7. Significance of symptoms
Focus on the key symptoms to guide prescribing (‘the tip of the ball’).
  8. Homeopathic aggravation
A beneficial initial reaction following administration of the remedy, reflecting its action.
  9. Ideal healing
Gradual resolution of symptoms through an energetic adjustment of the remedy.
  10. The 21 possible scenarios following the dose
Detailed analysis of responses to adjust the treatment.
  11. Difficult cases and mental health conditions
Strategies for dealing with incomplete clinical presentations, levels of health, and mental health conditions.
  12. Chronic miasms
An energy-based understanding of pathological patterns passed down from ancestors.

The Principles (±50½ hours)

We now turn to the application of the logical insights from the first part of the *Organon*. This transition involves a further revolution: from an unattainable theoretical totality to a signifying totality, derived from characteristic symptoms.

The clinical approach (±80 hours)

This time, here we go – you’re going to become a true, skilled clinician. As medicine is, above all, a journey of mentorship, all you need to do is let yourself be guided through these hundred or so clinical cases, each of which, in its own way, reveals a facet of the Art. You’ll save yourself many years of wandering…

Materia Medica (±36 hours)

We’re continuing our exploration of the essentials with Aconite, which, as you’ll discover, is one of our key remedies for chronic conditions – contrary to what you might hear elsewhere. Belladonna, our powerful ‘anti-inflammatory’ remedy; the Cucurbitaceae family, featuring the remarkable Bryonia; and already an in-depth study of the Repertory and its intricacies.

Who is Dr Edouard Broussalian?

Born in 1962, he studied, on his own, the Organon and Kent’s Repertory at the age of 15 and benefited from the experience of his father Georges, himself a direct pupil of Dr Pierre Schmidt, a master homeopath from Geneva, who had travelled to the USA as early as 1922 to study with Kent’s disciples.
Throughout his medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Grenoble, he continued to prescribe medication for healthcare staff and their families. Once he became a junior doctor, he achieved remarkable results in the psychiatry department, where he cut his teeth. He then went on to achieve astonishing results in various departments across the hospital, which sometimes got him into trouble.
He moved to Annecy in 1989 and has been practising extensively ever since. To date, he has treated more than 130,000 patients.
He wrote works that would soon become standard references, such as his first complete translation of Kent’s Repertory, as well as numerous articles.
When asked ‘Why Edouard Broussalian?’, his students reply: it is largely because of his human qualities – his kindness, generosity, willingness to share, rigour and accuracy – which are evident at every level of his teaching.

What format do the online courses take?

The course videos are available on an online platform.

Is the IHS school accredited by state bodies?

Our school is too committed, too wholehearted, to be recognised by the academic community and public institutions.
Clémenceau said: “The revolution is a single entity!” The same is true of homeopathy: it is a single entity and is revolutionising the field of medicine. Such a truth is not yet ready to be heard in a world governed by industrial interests.

Testimonials

The most reputable and high-quality school
After a disappointing experience with another homeopathy course, I was lucky enough to discover Dr Édouard Broussalian on YouTube. That was in 2018, and it marked a real turning point. I immediately began his course by joining the school, and from the very first few weeks, the International Homeopathic School (formerly Planète Homéopathie) struck me as the most reputable and high-quality school in the French-speaking world.
What fundamentally sets this course apart is its commitment to PURE Homeopathy. To my knowledge, it is the only school that encourages us to study Samuel Hahnemann’s *Organon of the Art of Healing* in depth. The teaching is based on the original doctrine and scrupulously follows the Master’s writings, as practised by the leading figures in 20th-century homeopathy. Furthermore, a wealth of clinical cases enriches the learning experience, bringing the whole course to life.
Dr Broussalian is an outstanding teacher. His knowledge and experience are vast, and he conveys them with rare clarity and passion. Here, we do not merely skim the surface of homeopathy: we delve into its most fundamental and effective principles.
If you are looking for a school that will introduce you to true homeopathy, without compromise or modern deviations, you are making the right choice by joining the IHS.
As far as I’m concerned, this course has been a real game-changer in my life!
Christophe R. (France)

My belief regarding the future of homeopathy is as follows:
We need to teach ordinary people how to treat everyday niggles – such as colds, flu, coughs, bronchitis and the early stages of sinusitis – using homeopathy, so that the demand on GPs comes from the grassroots.
In the 1970s, there was a journal called *Les annales homéopathiques* which described either a polychrest or the symptoms of a disease and how to treat it.
I think a magazine aimed at the general public would be a much better option, especially as it could be sent by email – that would be easy.
I sincerely hope that your school will be a success. And that lots of homeopathic doctors will spring up among your students.
I’ve given up hope of finding one in my area, around Romans-sur-Isère in the Drôme.
I wish you all the very best for the coming year.

You can’t understand homeopathy until you’ve studied it!
That’s the thought that occurred to me as I finished the final modules, whilst reflecting on what I knew about the subject before starting my course. Studying the text of the monumental work bequeathed by its creator – the Organon – feels like both an obstacle course and a genuine initiation. Homeopathy cannot be fully grasped by a superficial observer! In an age of crash courses, it is both a pleasure and a valuable learning experience to study over three or four years, moving through concentric circles of integration, covering both the laws and principles and the materia medica. A solid foundation for solid results. Thank you to Édouard Broussalian for his teaching skills, which bring the subject to life, and for his warm and approachable manner during the seminars.
