The IHS school charter

Joining the IHS is not simply a choice of course.
It is a deep personal and professional commitment.
Here, we don’t teach recipes.
We impart a vibrant, demanding philosophy, grounded in the natural laws of life, as set out by Hahnemann in the Organon. Every student at this school embarks on a journey that demands rigour, integrity, humility and a sincere commitment to the art of healing.

By joining this school,
I fully endorse the following values:

  • Faithfulness to the *Organon* and to the natural laws of healing
  • The pursuit of truth and authenticity in practice
  • A deep respect for life and for every human being
  • A commitment to a more humane, ethical and respectful approach to medicine
  • Intellectual rigour and a constant desire to learn
  • Faithful transmission of the knowledge received, without distorting it

By joining the IHS, I undertake to:

  • Attend the entire training programme regularly
  • Adhere to the learning pace and the deadlines set
  • To be actively involved in my personal development and research
  • Show respect towards teachers, peers and the subject matter being taught

  • Do not misappropriate or distort the teaching received for commercial or ideological purposes
  • To embody the spirit of the School with integrity in my future work

As a student, I understand that:

  • The title of IHS student is a mark of seriousness and commitment, which I shall endeavour to uphold with dignity
  • This school is not a place for the passive consumption of knowledge, but a place where knowledge is imparted in a rigorous manner
  • The teaching provided is based on a single, rigorous methodological framework
  • The quality of my participation determines the quality of my training
