The upcoming clinical seminar: 5–7 June 2026 in Divonne

Save the date. I’ll tell you more soon, but you should know right now that our special guest will be Aziz Yiaacoubi, one of the leading experts in agro-homeopathy. It’s going to be a real event, and everyone is welcome to this full day dedicated to the subject.

As a direct successor to Kaviraj, he possesses vast clinical experience, unrivalled wisdom and a modesty that is the hallmark of the ‘true masters’. It will be a pleasure to learn from him. The rest of the seminar will, of course, be based on live clinical cases.

New clinical training for everyone

Please do spread the word: from 26 February, I’m launching a new Clinical Class. It’ll be something completely unique, as you’ll be watching me solve clinical cases live. We’ll have two sessions a month for five months. It’s going to be a cracking time!

Call for volunteers

We are in great need of volunteers who speak both English and French to help us proofread the transcripts of my video lessons. Volunteers are asked to get in touch by email! Thank you in advance!

‘There is in every human being a natural inclination to act in accordance with reason. This is, in fact, to act in accordance with virtue.’

Saint Thomas Aquinas in the Somme: the law.

The Philanthropic Philosopher

Increasingly outraged by the negligence of so-called homeopathic prescriptions, I sought a new angle from which to approach the issue, to move beyond mere condemnation, which has become rather tiresome after 30 years of practice. Since protesting is clearly of little use, we could at least try to understand the origins of a scourge that appears to be widespread in the field of science in general and medicine in particular. ‘The soul and the body, united as one, form a harmonious whole, for man is created in the image of God.’

Saint Gregory of Nyssa, our Saint from Cappadocia. From *De Hominis Opificio* [On the Creation of Man], chapter 12.

The concept of healing in homeopathy

Homeopathy is a genuine long-term therapeutic option, a genuine conceptual leap that can be unsettling for those who are used to an all-chemical approach and retain a materialistic view of human beings. Illness is no longer a binary state – ‘I am ill’ or ‘I am cured by medication’ – but, just as a wound takes time to heal, the body, through homeopathy, receives information that enables it to gradually regain a sense of wholeness and balance.

Pluralism, complexity, one-size-fits-all

We sometimes hear (and indeed a little too often) that homeopathy, as Hahnemann is said to have actually practised it, involves administering several remedies at once. This would imply that everyone who has studied and strives to follow the Founder is either mistaken or has become entrenched in somewhat fanatical practices. Neither this «argument» nor the debate is new. Read the article.

And finally, here is this month’s video, entitled ‘Is the Organon alive?’. In a nutshell: do you think a book that’s two centuries old can teach us anything about medicine? If the answer is yes, then that means medicine has finally become a science.
