In summary

You have studied ballistics, weapons and the nature of the enemy. You are beginning to learn how to use the Repertoire as a rangefinder. But now it is time to study the different types of ammunition and learn how to shoot! The Practitioner now has a good grasp of the science; they must still master the art and develop their own personal style.
With over 150 hours’ study of materia medica, this time you will be able to prescribe with full confidence and you will see what others cannot. Better still, materia medica – which to the untrained eye appears as a jumble of random symptoms – will make perfect sense to you, with its signs derived from the miasm(s), the common signs of diseases, and the characteristic signs of the remedy.
Above all, you will now be studying the revolution within the revolution – that is, liquid-phase prescription, which allows the dosage to be finely tailored to the patient’s sensitivity. You will also study the various routes of administration, which will make you a Master in the Art of Healing.
At last, you’re sailing out of the harbour with all sails set!

Topics covered

  1. Examination of a patient with a chronic condition
A thorough medical history and careful observation (both verbal and non-verbal) enable a personalised homeopathic prescription to be drawn up.
  2. The two diagnostic approaches
Two complementary methods: ‘bottom-up’ (ascending analysis) and ‘the Boenninghausen method’ (systematic analysis using a repertory).
  3. Psychiatry according to Hahnemann
A holistic approach to mental health conditions, combining physical signs, past symptoms and a two-pronged treatment approach.
  4. Specific mental disorders
A study of emotional and behavioural disorders, with recommendations for comprehensive and personalised support.
  5. A study of febrile conditions
Analysis of feverish states and their energetic variations, in particular the alternation of the body’s strata.
  6. Homeopathic dosage
Precise adjustment of dosage, preference for liquid forms, and the principle of using the minimum dose to stimulate without causing adverse effects.
  7. Reactions and therapeutic adjustments
Interpreting the patient’s responses in order to adjust treatment, taking into account lifestyle factors and a thorough assessment.
  8. Pharmacopraxy: preparation of remedies
Meticulous preparation of medicines involving potentisation, using various dilutions (centesimal, LM), to ensure maximum efficacy.
  9. Administration and the philosophy of care
The use of a single remedy, gradual adjustment of the dosage, and a focus on accessible and compassionate medicine.
  10. Complementary therapies
Baths, electrotherapy and massages enhance the effects of the remedies by restoring the balance of vital energy.
  11. Magnetic approaches
The use of mineral and animal magnetism to harmonise the patient’s energy within a holistic approach to care.

The programme

The Principles (±28 hours)

We conclude our examination of patients by studying all the factors that characterise chronic cases. We shall then examine the specific cases of mental illnesses and alternating illnesses. Finally, the in-depth study of the new posology will be a revolution within a revolution. Nothing will be overlooked in this important study of our remedies: how to prepare them and how to administer them. You will henceforth belong to the very select group of 5 per cent of homeopaths who can claim to have studied and understood Hahnemann. It will be up to you to complete the edifice.

The clinical approach (±21½ hours)

We must constantly study the human fabric into which we immerse ourselves. The more cases you see, the better you will become. It is clear that cases will now be easier for you to decipher, as your mind has been trained in the specific mental exercises of the Organon. Here you have around thirty cases, each of which tells a particular story.

Materia Medica (approx. 151 hours, 42 medicines)

This is the ‘heavy tome’ for the Practitioner level! You’ll see just how vividly Dr Broussalian describes the properties of medicines, as if a hypothetical patient were standing right in front of you.
Four hours of training on the Kent Repertory round off this level.

Employment Contract

The school’s values serve as a guiding principle throughout your learning journey. It is essential that you read the IHS Charter carefully and make it your own; you should also refer to it whenever you need to.

Joining the IHS is not simply a choice of course.
It is a deep personal and professional commitment.
Here, we don’t teach recipes.
We promote a dynamic, rigorous philosophy, based on the natural laws of life, as set out by Hahnemann in the Organon.
Every student at this school embarks on a journey that demands rigour, integrity, humility and a sincere commitment to the art of healing.

The enrolment contract is the document that binds us and governs the relationship between each student and the school, ensuring that the entire course of study proceeds harmoniously and smoothly.
It is essential that you read and agree to the school’s rules, in particular the strict confidentiality of course content.

SUPPORT

As before, you will benefit from discussions with fellow students on the school’s platform, answers to your questions, and support from the school’s alumni. One meeting per month will be led by Dr Broussalian, during which you will present challenging clinical cases that we will resolve together. Each student will be entitled to two private consultations with Dr Broussalian, as well as case follow-ups during his consultations.

CERTIFICATION

The examination is compulsory. Students who have completed all the videos sit the examination during one of the two clinical seminars. Successful completion of this third-level examination is recognised by a diploma, which attests to the high standard of the homeopathic practitioner’s training.
(As you will be acting as an ambassador for homeopathy, the IHS school reserves the right to withdraw the diploma from any person found to be practising without adhering to Hahnemann’s principles (for example: polypharmacy, arbitrary repetition of dry doses, etc.))

INCLUDED IN THIS COURSE

Who is Dr Edouard Broussalian?

Born in 1962, he studied, on his own, the Organon and Kent’s Repertory at the age of 15 and benefited from the experience of his father Georges, himself a direct pupil of Dr Pierre Schmidt, a master homeopath from Geneva, who had travelled to the USA as early as 1922 to study with Kent’s disciples.
Throughout his medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Grenoble, he continued to prescribe medication for healthcare staff and their families. Once he became a junior doctor, he achieved remarkable results in the psychiatry department, where he cut his teeth. He then went on to achieve astonishing results in various departments across the hospital, which sometimes got him into trouble.
He moved to Annecy in 1989 and has been practising extensively ever since. To date, he has treated more than 130,000 patients.
He wrote works that would soon become standard references, such as his first complete translation of Kent’s Repertory, as well as numerous articles.
When asked ‘Why Edouard Broussalian?’, his students reply: it is largely because of his human qualities – his kindness, generosity, willingness to share, rigour and accuracy – which are evident at every level of his teaching.

What format do the online courses take?

The course videos are available on an online platform.

Is the IHS school accredited by state bodies?

Our school is too committed, too wholehearted, to be recognised by the academic community and public institutions.
Clémenceau said: “The revolution is a single entity!” The same is true of homeopathy: it is a single entity and is revolutionising the field of medicine. Such a truth is not yet ready to be heard in a world governed by industrial interests.

Testimonials

The most reputable and high-quality school
After a disappointing experience with another homeopathy course, I was lucky enough to discover Dr Édouard Broussalian on YouTube. That was in 2018, and it marked a real turning point. I immediately began his course by joining the school, and from the very first few weeks, the International Homeopathic School (formerly Planète Homéopathie) struck me as the most reputable and high-quality school in the French-speaking world.
What fundamentally sets this course apart is its commitment to PURE Homeopathy. To my knowledge, it is the only school that encourages us to study Samuel Hahnemann’s *Organon of the Art of Healing* in depth. The teaching is based on the original doctrine and scrupulously follows the Master’s writings, as practised by the leading figures in 20th-century homeopathy. Furthermore, a wealth of clinical cases enriches the learning experience, bringing the whole course to life.
Dr Broussalian is an outstanding teacher. His knowledge and experience are vast, and he conveys them with rare clarity and passion. Here, we do not merely skim the surface of homeopathy: we delve into its most fundamental and effective principles.
If you are looking for a school that will introduce you to true homeopathy, without compromise or modern deviations, you are making the right choice by joining the IHS.
As far as I’m concerned, this course has been a real game-changer in my life!
Christophe R. (France)

My belief regarding the future of homeopathy is as follows:
We need to teach ordinary people how to treat everyday niggles – such as colds, flu, coughs, bronchitis and the early stages of sinusitis – using homeopathy, so that the demand on GPs comes from the grassroots.
In the 1970s, there was a journal called *Les annales homéopathiques* which described either a polychrest or the symptoms of a disease and how to treat it.
I think a magazine aimed at the general public would be a much better option, especially as it could be sent by email – that would be easy.
I sincerely hope that your school will be a success. And that lots of homeopathic doctors will spring up among your students.
I’ve given up hope of finding one in my area, around Romans-sur-Isère in the Drôme.
I wish you all the very best for the coming year.

You can’t understand homeopathy until you’ve studied it!
That’s the thought that occurred to me as I finished the final modules, whilst reflecting on what I knew about the subject before starting my course. Studying the text of the monumental work bequeathed by its creator – the Organon – feels like both an obstacle course and a genuine initiation. Homeopathy cannot be fully grasped by a superficial observer! In an age of crash courses, it is both a pleasure and a valuable learning experience to study over three or four years, moving through concentric circles of integration, covering both the laws and principles and the materia medica. A solid foundation for solid results. Thank you to Édouard Broussalian for his teaching skills, which bring the subject to life, and for his warm and approachable manner during the seminars.

Clinical Classes
I am writing to thank Dr Edouard for his generosity and for the quality of what he shared with us during these meetings. .
I’d also like to thank the whole team for making these meetings possible!
What did I gain from this course? Through the various clinical cases discussed by the doctor, my curiosity and my keen interest in the art of healing were fully satisfied. .
It’s brilliant to be able to follow the doctor’s questions and observations, as well as the patients’ contributions, so closely.
I have had some deeply human and highly educational encounters.
Clinical classes have become a real addiction for me. Taking these classes encourages me to take my learning to the next level. .
